Waterfront has advised Wambiz on the £600,000 investment in the company by the Allan Murdoch Group, a consortium of investors that backs technology ventures. Wambiz is a social networking platform that presently operates primarily in the educational sector.

Harry Jawanda, co-founder of Wambiz, said: “This investment comes at a key time for the company as we to enter into a large number of collaborations with colleges and universities across the country. Patrick and Matt delivered an excellent service and were always on hand to help with the various issues arising from the deal in a friendly and accessible manner. Waterfront has been dealing with all legal matters for WAMBIZ since the company started and we look forward to continuing to work with them.”
Patrick Peake said: “This was the biggest deal that WAMBIZ have been involved with so far and it has been great to see how quickly the company has grown in a short space of time. I am delighted for WAMBIZ at getting such a big vote of confidence for the business from experienced investors like the Allan Murdoch Group.”
