Intellectual Property Enterprise Court (IPEC) - intellectual property law
The Intellectual Property Enterprise Court is a specialist court and part of the Business and Property Court of the High Court of Justice, based in central London.
They hear cases relating to intellectual property disputes, including;
- registered designs
- registered trade marks
- other intellectual property rights
For intellectual property disputes where the amount sought is by the rights owner is £10,000 or less, there is a ‘small claims track’.
