Waterfront has advised online cyber security training platform, Hack The Box, on its Series A investment round of $10.6 million led by Paladin Capital Group and including the company’s seed investor Marathon Venture Capital, and new investors Osage University Partners and Brighteye Ventures. The round will support the company’s growth as it establishes its presence in the US market and further expands its product portfolio for both individuals and businesses.

The Waterfront team advising on the investment round consisted of partner, Matt Cunningham, and associates, Charlotte Lang and Zahrah Fakim.  Waterfront previously advised in relation to Hack The Box’s seed investment from Marathon Venture Capital.

“We were impressed with the team at Waterfront. Their experience and timely advice was vital in helping us navigate the legal complexities of the round, resulting in a successful and seamless capital-raising process along with our investors,” said Haris Pylarinos, Hack The Box’s Co-Founder and CEO.

Matt Cunningham said; “We are delighted to have been able to support Haris, James and Aris, and the rest of the team at Hack The Box, in relation to the Series A round, which will allow them to build upon the impressive progress they have already made in such a short time. They are a pleasure to work with, and I look forward to continuing to support them through the next stage of their growth story.”
